Today was my opportunity to show my cluster lecturer and fellow students my final edit before the assessment next week. This was a great opportunity to gather feedback from my fellow peers and marking assessor, allowing me next week to change anything that was brought up. After watching and commenting on the other student productions i was keen to show mine and started off by explaining my sound choice for my piece and said that to obtain the ultimate experience of this headphones were needed. I then showed my film and all the feedback was positive and encouraging. After everyone had seen my film via my laptop, Jonathan then watched it again with a pair of headphones and was extremely pleased with the audio.
After showing my film i then went on to show the cluster the six still images i have selected to be part of my installation and got their opinions on them. Again everyone seemed to like what they saw and positive feedback was received. Jonathan was also happy with them so i will now go about getting them developed for the Degree Show in June. To finish off my presentation of my work i then showed some installation construction photographs to briefly illustrate what people can expect from my installation exhibition.
Todays critique has really made me feel confident about my piece and has made all the hard work worth while. It is always good to receive good feedback, but it is all the more reassuring as this is the final piece i will be submitting on the degree. Roll on Friday!
